What does CGI, PHP, MySql, etc. etc. mean?
Most of these acronyms are meant for development features that web designers and programmers use. Most hosts make a big deal out of these things because the people that designed their pages are, well... web designers and programmers. Rest assured that pretty much every package available carries these features, and if you're just starting out... you won't be using any of them. Beginners should pay more attention to the built-in, ready to roll features that come with your account like shopping carts and web site builders.
